Cub Scout Pack 659 was established in 1972 and is chartered by Citracado Dental Group in Escondido, CA. We are the largest Pack in the Palomar District. We primarily serve boys and girls who attend Bernardo, LR Green, San Pasqual Union, Heritage Charter, Grace Christian, Felicita, Central, Juniper, Miller and Quantum Academy Elementary schools, but all K-5th graders are welcome to join the pack!
We are a very active Pack and participate in a year-round schedule of fun activities such as Escondido Jaycees Christmas Parade, Blue and Gold Dinner (Scouting Anniversary), Pinewood Derby, Summer Day Camps, Lake Elsinore Storm and Padres Game/Campout, Scout night at the Gulls, Wave Water Park, Sleep over on the USS Midway, Scout Sunday and the Pack's Fall and Spring Campouts. You won’t want to miss our campouts. The whole family is encouraged to attend and camp with other members of their Den. The Campout is host to many great outdoor activities for all and is topped off with a good ‘ole evening campfire program. All of these events make for treasured memories of Cub Scouting and family!
As a pack and dens individually we have participated in the following community projects: Caroling to the elderly, Food drives for those less fortunate, Gathering clothes for homeless or those less fortunate, civic projects such as planting trees and providing meals.
We usually meet at Emmanuel Faith Community Church as a Pack every third Monday of the month! As a Den you will usually meet once or twice a month.
